The Familiar of Zero!

Well this anime is one of my favorite anime that was played by Rie Kugimiya. Zero no Tsukaima! Ms Kugimiya had done a really great job in playing the role of Louise. She's funny, tough, silly and sometimes even deadly.

Shakugan no Shana!

When I saw this anime for the first time, all I could think about was a high school girl got awesome supernatural abilities and have epic actions with addition of comedy and romance. Hmm... Sounds interesting. So I decided to give it a go. The result was really good but I just don't really how the anime ends.

The story of Shakugan no Shana starts with the conflict between two parallel worlds. The human world and another world that is named Guze. In this other world, there are creatures called Guze no Tomogara which have the powers to manipulate the Power of Existance. This power functions as a fuel to any kind of biological creatures within our planet. The piece between the two worlds was disturbed when the lord of Guze no Tomogara called the Guze no Õ creatures starts to feel careless and collect the Power of Existance from the human being, thus disrupting the balance between the two parallel universe. Due to this conflict, some lords that are even more powerful than the Guze no Õ known as Gods, contract humans to become a Flame Haze, whose duty is to maintain the balance between the two worlds by eliminating any Tomogara disrupting it.

The story largely takes place in Misaki City, Japan and resolve in a normal high school student named Sakai Yuji meeting a Flame Haze girl with flaming red eyes and dressed in black wielding a katana. The girl have informed him that he had died some time ago that his torch, a some sort of replacement of the Power of Existence that will slowly runs out. Yuji befriends with the girl and names her "Shana" after her sword. That is all of the main idea of the story. If I continue from here onwards, it would spoil the whole anime. So for further details, I recommend you to watch it for your self.

The first book cover page

This anime is adapted from its light novel and now the anime had stop airing. The anime consist of 3 seasons in total of 72 episodes with addition of 4 OVA. It is directed by Takashi Watanabe and written by Yasuko Kobayashi. Produced by J.C.Staff Studio. This anime also have the game adaptation was published by MediaWorks which is played in Playstation 2 and Nintendo DS.

In overall this anime is good, from the animation, plot and echii~ hehe. Some scene were funny and some of them are dead serious. Great plot and what I like the most is how the character develops through out the story. This anime is recommended for you to watch. So I would actually rate this anime a 3.5/5 good, but not awesome. Have a look on Shakugan no Shana first opening video posted by XBurnerful69.

ToraDora

ToraDora is one of the funniest and favorite school life, drama, romance comedy anime played by Rie Kugimiya anime that I have ever watch.

Ryūji Takasu

The story is just wonderful, amazing and I have lost words for it. So it begins like this, the main protagonist Ryūji Takasu is frustrated trying to stop looking good on his first day in his second year in high school. Despite his gentle personality, his eyes makes him look like an intimidating delinquent, so he feels utterly hopeless about his chances of getting a girlfriend anytime soon, and does not have many close friends either. He lives with his hungover mother and a pet parrot.

On his way to school, he was greeted by his best friend Yūsaku Kitamura and a girl he has a crush on, Minori Kushieda. However, it is then that he unexpectedly knocks into "the school's most dangerous animal of the highest risk level"—Taiga Aisaka—who just happens to also be in his class, and is a good friend of Minori.

Taiga Aisaka
Taiga has a negative attitude towards others and will not hesitate to snap at people. After meeting Ryūji, she takes an instant dislike to him. Taiga comes from a rich family, but she has moved out to live on her own due to family issues. She is coincidentally living in an apartment next to Ryūji's. When Ryūji discovers that Taiga has a crush on Yūsaku, and Taiga finds out about Ryūji's affections towards Minori, Ryūji suggests that they cooperate to win the objects of their affections. Seems really complicated hu?

My Favorite scene in the anime taken from the manga

The excitement doesn't end there. The best part of this anime is just I can't really guessed how the story progresses. Well except rivalry becomes love and finally... No spoilers. Hehe. But in overall this is a very fun, exciting and one of the best anime that I have watched in 2012 and I totally recommend you to watch it.

ToraDora Portable gameplay in PSP

Sadly it only have 1 season which contains 25 episodes and currently they only have 1 Original Video Animation. The producers also made the game. Produced by Namco Bandai Games comes Toradora Portable which is played in the PSP.

My favorite song in this anime between the openings and endings is their second ending. "Orange" by Rie Kugimiya, Eri Kitamura, and Yui Horie! But I'll just post their first opening. "PreParade" by Rie Kugimiya. Posted on youtube by SINNER1998.

In overall this anime is really entertaining and their conflict is just good. Some scenes are just really hilarious and some are just plain serious and sad. If I have to rate this anime, it would be a 4.5/5

Hayate The Combat Butler!

Nagi Shanzenin, one of the main protagonist of this anime, played by Rie Kugimiya. This anime is 100% pure comedy. Well at some point there are actions and romantic scenes, but this school life anime is not like the ordinary school life that we seen in other anime. When you see this anime, you will know what I mean.

Lets begin with me telling you the plot of this anime. The story resolves in a teenage boy named Aysaki Hayate. He had been bestowed a great misfortune upon his life. Being used by his parents to lie to clients at work when he was still a little boy and the worst part is his parents gambles and frankly they lost all the time. Hayate is alwasy working really hard in order to pay for his, and his really horrible parents, life expenses. One day on the day before Christmas, Hayate went home from his job and was fired since he lied about his age. As he enters his house he saw a note from his parents and a bill of 140 million yen (I mean what kind of parents does this to their own son). A second later a man in a suit came by saying that Hayate's parents sold him for 140 million yen to the Yakuzas. Hayate was shocked and ran away from home.
Manga book 1 Cover

On Christmas eve, when he was about to give up his miserable life, a miracle happened. Well actually a misunderstanding which leads to fortune. There was a blond, twin tailed little girl, wearing an expensive dress, was being smuggled by two men. Hayate saw the scene and springs into action. Due to a certain misunderstanding, Nagi, the twin tailed blond little girl, have fallen in love with Hayate. After Nagi was rescued by Hayate, she decides to hire him as her butler. But Hayate is not an ordinary butler, he fights and protects lady Nagi from any danger, including assassination, since she is targeted by many people due to her family's inheritance.

On a certain day, Hayate was thrown out of the Shanzenin mansion and was kidnapped by the Yakuzas. When all hopes was lost, Lady Nagi comes to the rescue and payed Hayate's parents' debt. Now Hayate have a reason to work for Nagi, in order to repay his debt.

This anime is being adapted from the manga series. The manga have reach 34 volumes and is still on going. The television series is still ongoing and probably in combination of all seasons, it may probably have reach around 90 episodes in addition of one movie entitled "Heaven is a Place on Earth". The movie's Original Soundtrack is really good and the story is a good but not awesome. In overall this anime for me is quite good despite the epic random occurrence during the series. I would have to rate this anime a 2/5.

Instead of its PV, I will post its move opening sang by the anime's original character Ruka Surenji "Bokura, Kakeyuku Sora e". The movie opening somehow summarizes the whole major events that happened during the first season. Enjoy! Video posted by onetorte in Youtube!
