Love Live! School Idol Project

There is only one sentence to describe this anime: Best School Idol Anime of The YEAR!

Plot:

A girl named Honoka Kosaka who really loved her school, Otonokizaka Academy, had realized that her school is going to get shut down due to lack of applicants. Honoka doesn't want to let that happen and was determined to save it. One day as she walked passed the street, she saw a very popular school idol A-Rise's performance which gave her an idea. Honoka then learned that school idols are very popular nowadays. She then decides to form the school idol for her school. Accompanied by her friends, Honoka was able to start a school idol group called μ's (pronounced muse) in order to attract new students.

The anime had already finished their first season which originally run at  January 6, 2013March 31, 2013 with 13 episodes. Just recently this November 27, 2013, Sunrise studio just released Love Live! School Idol Project first original video animation (OVA). It's 15 minutes long with their 6th music video as the ending of the episode. The anime series was a total success. I loved the story and how the character develops through out the series. Even though the conflict was a bit cliche, in the end the story gives me goose bumps and it was a good one. Its the kind of feeling when you get when you watch an epic battle where the heroine uses his epic attack against his arch nemesis. Yes that is what I felt in the last episode. I couldn't have asked for a better plot and I truly am looking forward to their next season this upcoming April 2014.

Currently this anime also have a game adaptation entitled Love Live! School Idol Festival which could be played in iOS device or Android. Sadly they could only be downloaded in Japan. Its a rythem game but at the same time you need to collect girls and level them up to become a better idol and score higher points. I was lucky enough to be able to play it a couple of times but since its still fully in Japanese its quite hard for me to understand clearly. But for a fan of the anime getting the game is good enough.

In conclusion, FUN-Must Watch- I don't care what other people said about this anime. Great songs, great illustration and its just great. I totally recommend anyone to watch this! 5/5.
