Hayate The Combat Butler!

Nagi Shanzenin, one of the main protagonist of this anime, played by Rie Kugimiya. This anime is 100% pure comedy. Well at some point there are actions and romantic scenes, but this school life anime is not like the ordinary school life that we seen in other anime. When you see this anime, you will know what I mean.

Lets begin with me telling you the plot of this anime. The story resolves in a teenage boy named Aysaki Hayate. He had been bestowed a great misfortune upon his life. Being used by his parents to lie to clients at work when he was still a little boy and the worst part is his parents gambles and frankly they lost all the time. Hayate is alwasy working really hard in order to pay for his, and his really horrible parents, life expenses. One day on the day before Christmas, Hayate went home from his job and was fired since he lied about his age. As he enters his house he saw a note from his parents and a bill of 140 million yen (I mean what kind of parents does this to their own son). A second later a man in a suit came by saying that Hayate's parents sold him for 140 million yen to the Yakuzas. Hayate was shocked and ran away from home.

On Christmas eve, when he was about to give up his miserable life, a miracle happened. Well actually a misunderstanding which leads to fortune. There was a blond, twin tailed little girl, wearing an expensive dress, was being smuggled by two men. Hayate saw the scene and springs into action. Due to a certain misunderstanding, Nagi, the twin tailed blond little girl, have fallen in love with Hayate. After Nagi was rescued by Hayate, she decides to hire him as her butler. But Hayate is not an ordinary butler, he fights and protects lady Nagi from any danger, including assassination, since she is targeted by many people due to her family's inheritance.

On a certain day, Hayate was thrown out of the Shanzenin mansion and was kidnapped by the Yakuzas. When all hopes was lost, Lady Nagi comes to the rescue and payed Hayate's parents' debt. Now Hayate have a reason to work for Nagi, in order to repay his debt.

This anime is being adapted from the manga series. The manga have reach 34 volumes and is still on going. The television series is still ongoing and probably in combination of all seasons, it may probably have reach around 90 episodes in addition of one movie entitled "Heaven is a Place on Earth". The movie's Original Soundtrack is really good and the story is a good but not awesome. In overall this anime for me is quite good despite the epic random occurrence during the series. I would have to rate this anime a 2/5.

Instead of its PV, I will post its move opening sang by the anime's original character Ruka Surenji "Bokura, Kakeyuku Sora e". The movie opening somehow summarizes the whole major events that happened during the first season. Enjoy! Video posted by onetorte in Youtube!
