The Familiar of Zero!

Well this anime is one of my favorite anime that was played by Rie Kugimiya. Zero no Tsukaima! Ms Kugimiya had done a really great job in playing the role of Louise. She's funny, tough, silly and sometimes even deadly.

The story started of in a different universe but similar as Earth, in a small continent called Halkeginia, where magic is real. Louise is a student of Tristain Academy of Magic. She is very lousy with magic and she always ends up making things explode. She got nicknamed by her classmates "Louise the Zero" because she is incapable of using the four elemental magic. Early in the school year at the Tristain Academy of Magic, the second year students perform a special ritual where they summon their familiar, which serves as their eternal protector and partner, and is usually some sort of magical creature. But Louise summons Saito Hiraga, an ordinary teenage boy from Japan, leaving her totally humiliated.

The Familiar of Zero follows the adventures of Louise and Saito as they help their classmates and friends, while occasionally blundering into situations where they risk their lives to save one another. Saito tries to find a way to get back to Japan, but he also has a mysterious power that allows him to wield swords and other weapons to perform heroic feats. They also eventually learn the truth behind Louise's magic inabilities.

Watching this anime is really fun for me. Its not too serious and its just hilarious. At times it could be echii and a bit hentai but in overall its a really good anime from Rie Kugimiya. I like all of the ending and opening songs but my most favorite is "Kiss Shite Agenai" sang by Rie Kugimiya. I was recommended by my friend to watch this anime and she told me that it is really good and I agree. The anime have 4 seasons and in total of 49 episodes with 1 Original Video Animation. If I have to rate this anime, it would be a 4/5! Great!

Take a look in the ending song from their last season posted on youtube by AxeVisionX!

  1. Thank you for such a well written article. The number of images your computer can create each second is measured in frames per second (FPS). You will see a smoother animation if your screen has a Maximum FPS because it will display more images per second. The gamer generally does not enjoy it when a game appears to stutter due to lower frame rates.
