Infinite Stratos (IS)

If you like Gundam, then you are going to like this. Infinite Stratos! the story takes place in the future where Japanese engineers creates a powered exoskeleton named Infinite Stratos (IS). It is the most advance weapon and battle technology that have ever been created by the human beings. Because of the over powered machine, the nations of the world enact the "Alaska Treaty", which states that IS will never be used for military combat and that existing IS technology must be equally distributed to all nations, to prevent any one nation from dominating the others. Sadly only female that could actually operate this machine. Due to this, there is a shift in the power balance between men and women, where women now dominate society over men.

Ten years after the IS was introduced to the world, the order of the IS have change. A 15 year old boy named Ichika Orimura was able to operate an IS. The Japanese government then forces the bewildered young man to attend the prestigious Infinite Stratos Academy, an international academy where IS pilots from all over the world are trained. The story begins the with the life of Ichika in the academy filled with only girls that can operate IS.

I really like this action - comedy anime from the beginning until the end. But I think the climax and its resolution was too fast and sadly the story was really short.
