K-ON!

This anime is titled K-ON! In Japanese the word "Keion Bu" which means "the light music club" which creates the title K-ON!. The story begins around four Japanese high school girls from Sakuragaoka Girl's High School, that joins the light music club to save it from getting disbanded and they end up being the only four members. One of the member, Yui Hirasawa, that has no experience playing musical instruments or reading sheet music at all and she is only familiar with playing the castanets, but eventually she becomes an excellent guitar player. Yui along side with her friends - bassist Mio Akiyama, drummer Ritsu Tainaka, and keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki - spent their time practicing, performing and hanging out together. They become really well known in their school and finally they are able to get another member into the club, welcoming another guitarist, underclassman Azusa Nakano. After Azusa joins they gain more structure and begin to practice more. They name their band as the "Ho-Kago Tea Time" which in English, "The Afternoon Tea Time."

This anime is just really entertaining and really funny. Up until today, this anime has 2 seasons contains 31 episodes, 6 episodes of its OVA (Original Video Animation) and a movie about ! hour and 45 minutes. This anime has been aired between April 3rd and June 26, 2009. If you like anime which is not so intense and a lot of humor then I recommend you to watch K-ON!
